Overview

This dataset forms the foundation of a pioneering study aimed at understanding and diagnosing dementia through advanced imaging techniques. It encapsulates data from two molecular imaging methods: Single-Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) and Fluorodeoxyglucose Positron Emission Tomography (FDG-PET), which are instrumental in the clinical diagnosis of dementia. The study explores the relationship between local cerebral blood flow and metabolic function changes, leveraging the high correlation found between cerebral blood flow patterns and glucose metabolism.
