Taiwan Aging and Mental Illness Cohort, TAMI

The Taiwan Aging and Mental Illness Cohort (TAMI) is a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) study conducted by Professor Albert C. Yang at Taipei Veterans General Hospital, in collaboration with National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Yangming campus, since 2012. To date, the study has enrolled 1,265 participants, including 587 healthy individuals and 678 patients with mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and depression. All participants undergo brain imaging scans in the MRI facility at the Yangming campus. In addition to demographic and clinical data, the study also includes structural (Structural and Diffusion Tensor Imaging) and functional MRI data.
